Why You Need to Travel to Tasmania Right Now.

You’ve probably heard about Tasmania, but maybe you haven’t had the chance to visit yet. If you’re thinking of traveling here, let me tell you why it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. The gorgeous mountain ranges, the pristine beaches and the wild animal population make Tasmania an adventure-filled destination that you don’t want to miss out on!
If you’re planning your summer vacation, then you need to think about adding Tasmania to your list of places to visit. This Australian island state is nestled in between the country’s mainland and Antarctica, making it one of the most beautiful and unique locations in the world. You won’t find anywhere else that has such an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty as Tasmania does, so here are 5 reasons why you need to go to this destination this summer.
Iconic Experiences
Tasmania has a rugged, raw quality that many people don't get the chance to experience. Climb Cradle Mountain, visit the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), and explore the Bay of Fires- all places you need to go. If you're there during the right time of year, then make sure to visit the Bay Of Fires during its peak season in December. The bright red lakes and orange sands contrast beautifully with the crisp blue skies and white clouds. There's also the Freycinet National Park- an expansive, beautiful area on the east coast and some amazing views of Wineglass Bay.
It's the perfect mix of city and nature
There are many things you can do in Tasmania, from exploring the city of Hobart, to taking a hike along Cradle Mountain. Launceston is a beautiful Victorian city with historic charm, and Cataract Gorge is a great place for beginners who want an easy walk. It's all about the Rugged Experience! A trip to Tasmania wouldn't be complete without being dwarfed by its mighty mountain ranges, catching stunning glimpses of rolling waves off coastlines or exploring the historical cities.
Adventure's out there!
If you’re looking to travel somewhere truly off the beaten path, with breath-taking views and abundant wildlife, look no further. The island state offers more than just incredible natural beauty – it also boasts some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the world, so if you’re an outdoorsy type, be sure to plan your trip around one of these adventurous activities!
Other great things to do in Tasmania are kayaking with seals, exploring the mountain ranges or surfing on some of the longest waves in Australia.
The food is amazing
Tasmania is a place that's full of adventure, wilderness, and rugged experiences, and the food is also incredible! Tassie offers an immense variety of cheese, gin, wine tasting tours and many more. There are little cafes that boast of using the finest Tasmanian ingredients, cellar doors on windy roads in the middle of no where, incredible gin at the edge of the world.
It isn't called the Apple Isle for nothing- Tasmania produces some of the best apples around. Enjoy fresh apple cider or apple pie at a local farm or orchard during your stay.
Small town feel
Tasmania is a small, but diverse state that gives travellers the opportunity to experience rugged wilderness and untouched beaches. The people of this country are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered, and it's a great place for young families. It has easy access to all the necessary amenities like groceries and pharmacies, and yet feels like you're in an entirely different world. It's one of my favourite places in the world because it still has so much to offer!

Tasmania is the perfect place for your next adventure. The thrill of hiking along mountain trails is exhilarating while being immersed in nature, then stopping at a vineyard for a wine. So what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and head out to this beautiful destination now!
