Boat Harbour is known for pristine white sand and sparkling water. Not only is it one of the most beautiful beaches in Tasmania, but Boat Harbour has been voted as one of the Top 10 in Australia.

The clear, calm water makes this a lovely beach for the family and various water activities- get out the kayak or the snorkelling gear and enjoy the sheltered cove, or go rock hopping and see what you can find! 

As you drive down the hill towards the beach, the blue and green water through the trees is the first thing you’ll notice. When you arrive down at the bay, there are holiday shacks and Airbnbs to your left and overlooking the water to your right. There is a cafe and a playground right on the beach, and a lovely grassy BBQ area just across the road if you fancy a picnic lunch.

Approximately 60 minutes from Devonport and 1 hour 45 from Cradle Mountain, Boat Harbour is the perfect day trip to enjoy the sun and sand in one of the most stunning locations in Tasmania.
